There is a place where you are Knowhere.

The definition of "nowhere" describes the literal absence of place. Our version is spelled with a "K," an important distinction that reflects the opposite meaning. Staying Knowhere is an expectation of quality, thoughtfulness, and feeling like you're at the right place at the right time.

Born in NYC, Knowhere is a creative hospitality brand founded by the team from Knowlita, as well as Leyla Marchetto from Navy Beach, and Tom Herrmann, CEO of Dune Resorts. Breakers is the company's first large-scale project, an endeavor that's been focused on channeling the power of this place affectionately called The End and enhancing the elements that make the seaside property so unique.

Summer 2017 represents phase one of our multi-year restoration plan, which has resulted in improvements to multiple rooms; the opening (soon) of a communal lounge and pop-up space; brand partnerships with La ColombeLeesa, Malin & Goetz, and Le Labo; and the exciting addition of Seamore's.

Partnering with restaurateur Michael Chernow and the Seamore's team has been as much about seafood as it is about out shared culture & ethos. Together we aim to craft a new experience for Montauk: one that celebrates its history -- symbolized by leaving the same vintage Breakers signage out front -- while also helping to (hopefully) shape its future.

Many companies would never launch a project like this until it's perfect. We didn't have that luxury, as missing the season wasn't an option, and so we'll be the first to acknowledge that Breakers is still a work in progress. But trust: whether it's this year or next or five down the line, we won't stop improving until there's Knowhere else you would rather be.

Welcome to Knowhere.
